Several months ago, preparations were in full flow for the Catalyst Festival 2020, with Catalyst churches getting ready to come together for our biannual celebration of everything the God is doing amongst us around the world. Although we aren’t able to meet this year as planned, and are very much looking forward to gathering instead from 29th May-1st June 2021, we’re excited to share Festival at Home from 22nd-26th May.

Teaching & Worship
Every day during what would have been our 2020 Festival, we’re going to be sharing a talk from a previous Festival at 8pm (plus 10:30am on Monday) to watch and comment “as live” through our Facebook and Youtube Pages – talks which each land fresh with a unique encouragement to bring us during this particular season. As part of that series, at 8pm on Sunday 24th May we’ll have a time of worship prepared and led by the Festival Band, followed by a brand new message from Simon Holley, who leads the Catalyst Team, about how we can continue to respond with faith in this unique moment. You’ll be able to access all the sessions through our Facebook Page by clicking here or through Youtube by clicking here. Here’s the lineup:

Saturday at 8pm: David Devenish from 2014
Sunday at 8pm: Festival Band and Simon Holley, brand new for 2020
Monday at 10:30am: Simon Holley from 2018
Monday at 8pm: Alastair Gordon, Nikki Marfleet, and Emmanuel Rucyaba from 2018
Tuesday at 8pm: Alan Scott from 2016

Catalyst Kids
On Saturday 23rd, we’ll have an online ‘Ignite’ session aimed at those in School Years 3-6, with games, teaching, worship, craft and challenges. We’ll be having loads of fun together, with space to interact with the team and have a go at some ideas to try at home, as well as to give a taster of what the Kids sessions at the Festival are like for anyone who hasn’t been before! It’ll run live from 6:30pm on Saturday 23rd via our website (click here for the page) and then be available to watch again afterwards on our Vimeo Channel.

Catalyst Youth
Kicking off the whole weekend, we’ll also have three Catalyst Youth Sessions on Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd. The first two sessions will be on Youtube, with worship, teaching and interviews, and the third will be live via Zoom with fun challenges, worship and a talk.
– Friday at 7pm via Youtube (click here)
– Saturday at 10am via Youtube (click here)
– Saturday 7pm via Zoom (The link and Meeting ID has been emailed out to Churches – contact tex@catalystnetwork.org for more information or if you haven’t received it)

Please do join us for any of these – hopefully it whets your appetite for next year! Bonus points for anyone who joins in the Festival Fun by camping in their garden and sending us a picture on Social Media…
