One of the best parts of Catalyst Festival is the Kids work!

From the youngest at The Snug, throughout Sparks, Blaze and up to Ignite, there’s been a real buzz surrounding this area of the Festival.

One of the kids work areas – Ignite, headed up by Nick Brennan and a fantastic bunch of around 30-40 servers, has been very exciting.

Around 300 kids daily have attended Ignite, where they have taken part in various zones including an international zone where they can pray for the nations, a friend zone to pray for their friends at the festival and back at school, a prayer and personal zone and a treasure hunting zone!

Their mission statement has been ‘to equip and prepare for mission’, and they’ve been learning lot’s about God’s love, the gospel, how they can hear from God.

The response times have proven to be very fruitful – one child was healed of eczema on their arm, another had their ear healed, and we’ve heard of kids hearing from God for other kids in Ignite who they didn’t know!

Alongside spending time learning, the kids have an opportunity to take part in big games and witness the famous gunge-a-leader challenge!

We’re simply blown away at what God has been doing with these kids and we pray that they will take what they’ve learnt over this week away with them.

Please continue to pray for this young generation and the work here at Catalyst Festival!
