Church Planting

A key part of how we are reaching into new communities is through planting brand new churches and sites. We are currently planting churches into Wakefield, Sheffield and Towcester in the UK, as well as internationally into Munich in Germany, Athens in Greece, Gdansk in Poland, and others including in countries we can’t name for security reasons. Our churches have also recently planted new sites in Birmingham, Southampton, Manchester and Bedford.

We work hard train, equip and support church and site planters through the Broadcast Network, an online training database with videos, podcasts, articles and resources, our annual Multiply Conference, usually held in October in Bedford, and the new Multiply+ one-to-one mentoring scheme. For more information on church planting throughout Catalyst, contact Martin Tibbert at martin.tibbert@woodsidechurch.com or head to our Connect page and sign up to keep in touch.

Training

For us to achieve everything we’re called to, we need men and women who are spiritually gifted and biblically trained, using their skills and passions for the common good in our society and our churches.

We run four training programmes open to everyone – Impact, Leadership & Theology Training, Broadcast and God’s Big Story. We also run a tailored training programme for Church Teams called Coaching Church Leadership Teams which you can find out more about here.

Impact

Impact is a year out to focus on God, involving a church-based project, overseas mission, and training in leadership skills and theology
