Catalyst Youth meets during the main meetings to come together, sing, dance, you name it – with between 350 and 400 young people in the venue!

When the doors open, hundreds rush towards the front where they are greeted with a pumping DJ set to get them warmed up alongside a bouncy demolition ball – it’s not quite as dangerous as it sounds!

This is soon followed by a competition/game or both. Then the Catalyst Youth band bring them into a place of lively worship where they can encounter the Holy Spirit. After this, there’s a preach from one of a number of different speakers – several workshops included yesterday morning – and finally another period of worship/ministry time.

So now you know how it works – what has God been doing in these young people’s lives this week?

Well our incredible God has been hard at work with these amazing young people even just after two days! We’ve heard of a young guy who told the team there that he couldn’t feel any pain around his broken wrist and that he physically felt bones moving position – amazing!

The talks have proven fruitful too, with the young people responding to the Word of God in a number of different ways – last night we heard of hundreds respond to God by standing. It’s clearly evident that God is meeting with these guys!

Please continue to pray for the young people and that the rest of their time here and beyond will be a time of drawing close to God and choosing to live radically for him.
